What is everyone saying?
hostess turned us away from sitting on the patio because we had dog who is a service animal but apparently not to her standards- woman just kept reading a paper and didn't actually know anything about ADA policies

I will start this off by saying that the food was decent. If the service wasn't so bad, I would've given it three stars. It came out quickly and efficiently and tasted like it should. The seasoning was a bit lacking, but I found that most of the food in Sedona was like that so I might just be more used to the flavor in Texas. What I do want to comment on is the service specifically. When we came in and out our names on the list, we were told there would be a twenty minute wait. We thought that was fine and saw people were waiting in the front so we did that too. Not two minutes later, a waiter comes up to us and tells us to wait in our car. Other restaurants in Sedona had us wait in our car too, probably to keep the area in the front not as crowded, so i got that. what I realized when I got out that my friend pointed out to me was that she just picked us out. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe future new people would be told to wait in their cars too, but when we came in after we got our text that they were ready to have us, there were new people waiting in the lobby. I have never been so obviously picked on, and no one really corrected the behavior of the waitress, and it was kind of disconcerting. I'm not gonna go there and point out the obvious of why this waitress might have picked on us, but the food is very mid to waste your time at a discriminatory spot. Go to the coffee pot restaurant honestly. Breakfast options are plenty there and they're nice and respectful over there.
Also, eating here has made me appreciate the houston dining scene even more. Nice service or if the service sucks, it sucks for everyone so you know you're not being targeted. I'm ok with bad service if it isn't targeted.

Stopped over here for Breakfast during vacation and the food + service was great! Becky convinced us to try the 3 lb cinnamon roll and it did not disappoint. Will be back the next time we are in Sedona!

There's a lot to like about this establishment. The food is excellent, prices are fine, it's clean and orderly, and there's a girl named Becky who completes the whole experience- you've got to come try it!

This good-sized cafe is open for breakfast and lunch, aka brunch. Our experiences have been good after entering this typically full house. No worries in that you get moved in and seated respectfully, not rushed. Your food is served by a courteous staff delivered as you'd expect it. Our omelets and pancakes (personal breakfast favs) were simple, creative, yet traditionally prepared for the courses. Make a local favorite yours, too.

Small town diner packing a massive punch! The food here is delicious! We had to visit twice while we were in town. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the staff was extremely courteous and the food arrived in good time. It was hot and delicious. The rancheros was the best I have ever had. The giant cinnamon roll was even bigger than we could have imagined but the taste was amazing. The French toast was phenomenal. Prices are extremely reasonable. If you find yourself in Sedona, stop in and enjoy one of the best restaurants in the area.

We were in Sedona last Friday, the 12th. Before we even traveled there, I already looked into places where we could eat and this was highly recommended by a local blogger.
We came in late -close to 1pm and I knew that they close at 2pm. But even then, we received great service! We loved the food! Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos.
It was also nice & fun to see how the hostess interacted with guests. You could tell the place is being frequented by locals as she knew most of them. Everyone was polite and nice! As far as we could tell, we were the only non-Caucasian there and we were treated equally.
We were just sad that we didn't get to try their giant cinnamon roll as they were already out.
We will definitely go back and will make sure to come earlier so we can get the cinnamon roll, with their awesome coffee!

Had the delicious Cowboy Benedict. I highly recommend their biscuits and gravy. The sausage gives it a nice flavor and slight kick. Be sure to ask for the house salsa to kick it up a notch.
They offer a 3 lb cinnamon roll which requires a small army to eat. Definitely not for the faint of heart.
Great service and the food came out very quickly.

My favorite brunch place!! We go here every year on our Sedona trip and are never disappointed. Everyone leaves stuffed and happy! Portions are huge!!!
Every year the staff is friendly and accommodating to our needs and constant questions about the menu! And the bloody marry is absolutely amazing.
Love the vibes of this place, if feels very homey with the decor. Please note if you go on Sunday for brunch you will be waiting upwards of an hour. BUT ITS SO WORTH IT.

I don't understand the hype. It's got great reviews and it's very busy. They estimated that we would wait 35 minutes for breakfast and it was closer to 50 minutes. They do have a handy waitlist app so that you can watch and track when it's getting close to your number.
The wait staff were friendly enough and the place is so busy that you know the food is fresh. I got the huevos rancheros and my husband got the chicken fried steak. I was underwhelmed with the portions. We also did order their enormous cinnamon roll. It's huge and ooey gooey sweet. I had a couple of bites but the frosting was overdone - meaning that there was just too much of it.
For the price, there are other options very nearby and I will go to one of those instead.

Tasty - We were hungry, hot and thirsty after a long hike in the area. Thought we would call in for lunch as only staying across the road. We both enjoyed our... read more sandwiches and I thought the salad which came with it very good. Our lunch certainly filled the spot.

Atmosphere is well lit and clean, a very professional and well managed restaurant! Easy parking. Get there early, fills up fast. They bring you a whole pot of coffee for fill up. Very attentive and fast. Little pricey , but typical for area. In plaza with grocery store to left, in case you forget something on a hike, etc. They are closed Tuesdays! Love the decorations and look of the inside. We will be back, each time in area. Good job, great staff. Food was hot and very tasty, 3 breakfast tacos, a little too much for me, but delicious. by the time we left , place was crowded.
